Our History

Our Beginnings

ECM was born in 2006, when we began providing computer networking support services to one of the world’s largest mining companies in our hometown of Sudbury, Ontario.

Our Early Years

Over our first 5 years ECM developed a deep understanding of the intricacies involved with providing best-in-class I.T. services within the operational realities of supporting a 24/7 critical production environment. During this time this understanding of our clients’ environments allowed us the opportunity to expand our offerings beyond traditional networking to include wireless, servers, and support systems of a complete I.T. infrastructure.

Our Expanding Services

In 2011 we expanded our offerings further, establishing a division dedicated to the cabling infrastructure upon which our networks have been built. Since that time our cabling teams have grown to make up approximately half of our team members, providing Ethernet (Cat5e/6) and fibre optic services to industrial and commercial clients throughout Central Canada.


Today, ECM has grown into a mature full-service technology infrastructure company. Through continual employee training and company development, we provide cabling, racking, servers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and related I.T. equipment and services to our various clients large and small.
