We are particularily proud of our partnership with Cisco with whom we have earned the prestigious Premiere partner-level status with, the only company based in Northern Ontario to do so. We are also quite proud of our partnership with Corning Cable Systems, and primarily use their product for our fibre cable installations. By attaining Corning’s Network of Preferred Installers partnership status, again the only company based in Northern Ontario to do so, we are able to provide Corning’s 25-year warranty on each of our fibre installations.

Cisco Systems is a leading force in the I.T. world, providing network switches and routers, servers, wireless systems, and numerous other technologies required to provide the infrastructure we use every day.
We have chosen to partner with Cisco for a number of reasons. Many of our existing clients’ networks are built using Cisco devices. Cisco’s deep product lines ensure that from a table-top switch in a boardroom, to the nerve centre of a network core, they have a product designed to meet our clients’ needs. Cisco’s excellent SmartNet support provides next-business-day replacement of failed hardware, and their support associates are available 24×7 to help troubleshoot the most complex failures.
Cisco maintains a certification program to help quantify the skills and training of potential partners. ECM is proud to be the highest-certified company based in Northern Ontario, having earned Cisco’s difficult Premier Certified Partner status. Through our on-going commitment to employee training and development of our skills, this certification serves as Cisco’s acknowledgement of ECM’s ability to provide enterprise-level equipment and services based on Cisco technologies.
Corning Cable Systems are the leaders in the world of fibre optic cabling. From light-use cables for indoor use to rugged armoured cables for industrial & underground use, Corning has the product breadth to supply the right fibre every time. Continued development of patch panels and associated hardware have led to products which are simple to use yet well constructed, ensuring installations can be completed quickly but still be built to last.
ECM has chosen to partner with Corning primarily given their position as a leader in fibre optic cabling. Their excellent support structure ensures the fibre cables we run and terminate are built to last.

Microsoft has built and maintained a significant presence in the I.T. industry with their popular Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Server operating systems.
ECM has chosen to partner with Microsoft to enhance our ability to support our client’s networks. Additional licenses of Microsoft products are available to us to use in setting up test servers & systems when evaluating new software. Access to Microsoft’s dedicated support team ensure that we have the assistance to help our clients with the assistance of Microsoft should the case arise.
Symantec makes a wide variety of security software for both small & large businesses. Home users may be familiar with their Norton product, while businesses may find Symantec Endpoint Protection to be more familiar. Regardless of business size, Symantec likely has the software needed to keep the servers & clients safe and virus free.
ECM has chosen to partner with Symantec as their products are easy to use, while providing enterprise-level protection against security threats. Additionally, for our Control Systems clients a number of SCADA systems exclusively support antivirus software published by Symantec.
Veritas is a new company with a long history of providing system backup capabilities. This company was created in 2015 when Symantec split off their system backup group into their own company. Their flagship product is the familiar Backup Exec.
ECM chose to remain a partner after Veritas split from Symantec as many of our clients have deployed Backup Exec quite sucessfully. This new company is fully committed to the Backup Exec product, and ECM will continue our support for Backup Exec through this partnership.
