Over time, at the request of our clients our offerings grew to include management of servers, the installation of copper and fibre optic Ethernet cables for both industrial settings and offices, preventative maintenance, and monitoring.
Today, ECM provides a full range of I.T. style services to both our Process Control clients, as well as Enterprise I.T., and we’re continuing to grow. We strive to ensure every service we provide is done with excellence. From configuring a Cisco switch, to installing the Ethernet cabling for a new building, it is our goal that our work can be relied upon to be completed quickly, and correctly. We most often meet this goal, and earn the repeat business of our clients.
To provide the services our clients require, ECM has partnered with many of the heavyweights in our industry to provide you with the services and products you desire. We are a Cisco Select partner, a Microsoft partner, along with numerous others. With the backing of these partners, we can execute your projects with the right products and services to get the job done right.
ECM was born in 2006, when we began providing computer networking support services to one of the world’s largest mining companies in our hometown of Sudbury, Ontario.
Over our first 5 years ECM developed a deep understanding of the intricacies involved with providing best-in-class I.T. services within the operational realities of supporting a 24/7 critical production environment. During this time this understanding of our clients’ environments allowed us the opportunity to expand our offerings beyond traditional networking to include wireless, servers, and support systems of a complete I.T. infrastructure.
In 2011 we expanded our offerings further, establishing a division dedicated to the cabling infrastructure upon which our networks have been built. Since that time our cabling teams have grown to make up approximately half of our team members, providing Ethernet (Cat5e/6) and fibre optic services to industrial and commercial clients throughout Central Canada.
Today, ECM has grown into a mature full-service technology infrastructure company. Through continual employee training and company development, we provide cabling, racking, servers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and related I.T. equipment and services to our various clients large and small.
